Refund & Cancellation Policy

This policy applies to every purchase made from Nodes2Cloud, whether processed through Dodo Payments or Razorpay. It forms part of our Terms of Service.

1. The short version

2. Subscription refunds

Paid plans are billed monthly or annually in advance (the Maintenance plan is billed monthly only). You may request a full refund of your first subscription payment, whether monthly or annual, within 7 days of that charge, provided that:

• no AI credits have been consumed on the account during that billing period; and
• the account has not been suspended or terminated for breach of our policies.

Why the AI credit condition exists. AI credits are spent on model providers the instant you use the assistant. That cost is real, immediate and not recoverable by us. So once a single credit has been consumed in a billing period, the payment covering that period is not refundable — not a reduced refund, and not a pro-rata one.

If you want to try a paid plan before committing, use it without the AI assistant and your refund right stays intact for the full 7 days.

Renewals are not refundable. Once you have been on a plan for a full period, subsequent charges, monthly or annual, are final. Cancel before your renewal date to avoid being charged again — see section 4.

3. AI credit packs

AI credit packs are one-time purchases that top up your balance. A pack is refundable in full within 7 days of purchase only if no credits from your balance have been consumed since the purchase.

Because credits are drawn from a single pooled balance, we cannot separate “pack credits” from “plan credits”. If any credit is used after you buy a pack, the pack is treated as used and is not refundable.

Credits carry no cash value and cannot be transferred, exchanged, or converted to money outside this policy.

4. Cancelling your subscription

Cancel at any time from Billing in the Nodes2Cloud editor, or by emailing support@nodes2cloud.com. There is no cancellation fee and you do not need to give a reason.

When you cancel:

• Your paid features continue until the end of the period you have already paid for. We do not cut you off immediately.
• No further charges are taken.
• There is no pro-rata refund for the unused remainder of the current period.
• At the end of the period your account moves to the free plan. If you are over the free plan’s limits, your workflows are not deleted — they become read-only until you reduce the count or resubscribe.
• Anything you have already deployed to your own Cloudflare account keeps running. It belongs to you and does not depend on your subscription.

5. How to request a refund

Email support@nodes2cloud.com from the address on your account, with:

• the transaction or payment ID from your receipt;
• the date of the charge; and
• a brief reason — helpful for us, but not a condition of a valid request.

We acknowledge refund requests within 2 business days and decide within 5 business days. If we decline, we will tell you exactly why.

6. How long a refund takes to reach you

Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method. We cannot refund to a different card, account or method.

We issue the refund immediately on approval; the remaining time is your bank’s or card issuer’s processing, which is outside our control. Any tax charged is refunded along with the payment.

7. When we will not refund

• Any billing period in which AI credits were consumed.
• Renewal payments after your first billing period.
• Requests made more than 7 days after the charge.
• Accounts suspended or terminated for breach of the Acceptable Use Policy or the Terms of Service.
• Charges billed to you by Cloudflare or any other third party. We have no ability to refund a bill we did not issue. Your Cloudflare costs are between you and Cloudflare.
• Losses arising from a workflow you built and deployed.
• Repeated subscribe-and-refund cycles on the same or linked accounts.

8. Where we may refund even so

The rules above are the floor, not the ceiling. We will normally refund, regardless of window or credit usage, where:

• you were charged twice for the same thing;
• you were charged after cancelling;
• a defect on our side made the paid features unusable and we could not fix it;
• we terminate your account for our own convenience mid-period; or
• we materially changed the terms or price and you did not accept the change.

Just tell us what happened. We would rather resolve it than argue about a clause.

9. Failed and duplicate payments

If a payment fails, no service is provided for it and nothing needs refunding — you can simply retry. If money left your account but your plan did not activate, it is almost always a temporary authorisation hold that reverses by itself within 5–7 business days. If it does not, email us with the transaction ID and we will trace it with the payment provider.

10. Chargebacks

Please contact us before raising a chargeback. Almost every dispute is faster to resolve directly, and a chargeback triggers an automatic account suspension while the bank investigates. If a chargeback is decided in our favour we may require the disputed amount to be settled before restoring access.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy. The version in force when you made a purchase is the one that applies to it, so a change can never retroactively reduce a refund right you already had. The “last updated” date at the top reflects the current version.
